Can SC students apply for NSP scholarship?
The SC students, who secure admission in the notified institutions, will be awarded scholarship to meet the requirements for (i) full tuition fee and non-refundable charges (there will be a ceiling of Rs. 2.00 lakh per annum per student for private sector institutions and Rs.
Who are eligible for NSP pre matric scholarship?
Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
What is the amount of NSP scholarship for post-matric?
1.50 lakh per annum shall be eligible for : post-matric scholarship to the extent of reimbursement of all compulsorily payable non-refundable fee. Unemployed students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs, 1.50 lakh per annum will be entitled for the scholarship under the Scheme. xii. xiii

SC ST Scholarship is given to the students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) to pursue their higher studies. The Government of India has opened a lot of opportunities for SC/ST students to pursue their higher studies.
Which caste can apply for NSP scholarship?
Reservations for the various categories are as follows : Scheduled Castes (SCs) 15 % , Scheduled Tribes ( STs) 7.5 %, Other Backward Classes(OBCs) 27 % and horizontally 5 % for Physically Handicapped / Persons(s) with Disabilities (PwDs) in all the categories.
